RAMP Focus Study Area [Polygon]
The RAMP Focus Study Area is defined by the watersheds in which oil sands development is occurring or planned, as well as those parts of the Athabasca River and Clearwater River channels within the Regional Study Area. The Focus Study Area is comprised of two major areas, one to the north of Fort McMurray and one to the south. Most of the intensive monitoring activity conducted by RAMP occurs within the RAMP Focus Study Area.

Oil Sands Lease Boundaries (2010) [Polygon]
The Oil Sands Lease Boundary (2010) consists of a) 2010 Focal Projects (projects within the RAMP focal study area that were active in 2010 and were operated by 2010 RAMP funders), b) RAMP Funder Projects with Formal Applications as of 2010 (approved projects under construction or operation consistening of oil sands leases owned by 2010 RAMP Funders in which land change was detected in 2010), and c) Other Approved Oil Sands Projects as of 2010 (other lease boundaries contained in EIAs). Note, boundaries for Hammerstone Corp. projects are a delineation of 2008 land change. Oil Sands Project Lease Boundary is derived from Alberta Energy Oil Sands Lease Agreements.
